Acting Chief Administrative Officer advised of the addendum items, being a
Traffic Mitigation PowerPoint Presentation by the Director of Engineering
Services, Development and Infrastructure Services – Engineering Services
Report 2016-42 regarding the Lions Park Drainage and Public Consultation
Process Report, the proclamation request for October 17 to 23, 2016 as
Waste Reduction Week, Development and Infrastructure Services Information
Report Engineering Services 2016-41 regarding Solar Powered Pole Mounted,
Radar Speed Displays – Pilot Project and correspondence from Mr. Paul
Bailey regarding Item 5 of the agenda being Development and Infrastructure
Services Report Engineering Services 2016-28 – Coordinated Provincial Plans
Review. In addition, he advised that the PowerPoint Presentation regarding
Traffic Mitigation was uploaded into the electronic agenda prior to
Addendum # 2 being created which has impacted the page numbering and that
no pages are missing.

September 26, 2016 regarding Lions Park Drainage Update and Public
Consultation Process.

THAT Development and Infrastructure Services Report – ES 2016-42 dated
September 26, 2016 regarding “Lions Park Drainage Update – Public
Consultation Process” be received and the following recommendations be
adopted:
i)
THAT the Lions Park Drainage Improvement Budget be increased to $615,000
(from the original $304,000) with $171,000 being funded by grants from the
LSRCA and Environment Canada, and $444,000 from the Asset Replacement Fund,
as outlined in Engineering Services Report – ES 2016-34, entitled “Ray
Twinney LID and Lions Park Drainage Update” dated August 4, 2016;
ii)
AND THAT staff be directed to proceed with the project;
iii)
AND THAT Staff be authorized and directed to do all things necessary to
give effect to the foregoing in advance of the October 3, 2016 Council
meeting.
