The Council Workshop was held on Monday, October 26, 2015 in Council Chambers, 395 Mulock Drive, Newmarket.

The Council Workshop convened at 10:05 a.m.

Mayor Van Bynen in the Chair.

Mayor Van Bynen advised that in accordance with the Town's Procedure By-law, no decisions are to be made but rather this meeting is an opportunity for Council to have an informal discussion regarding marketing and corridor intensification. Mayor Van Bynen introduced members of the Newmarket Economic Development Advisory Committee who were in attendance.

Marketing/Promotion of Corridors for Intensification.

The Chief Administrative Officer provided input regarding staff contributors to some of the slides within the presentation.

The Director of Planning and Building Services provided a brief summary of the basis for the workshop material and introduced Mr. Mark Conway.

Mr. Mark Conway, Senior Planner, N. Barry Lyons Consulting addressed those present with a PowerPoint presentation regarding marketing/promotion of corridors for intensification.
