Mr. Paul Jolie addressed Council regarding residential water rates, specifically as they relate to the installation of new advanced water meter infrastructure that is proposed and commented that the installation of a new meter has resulted in a sizeable increase in his water bill.  He suggested that the proposed water levy be based upon each individual consumer bill, as opposed to being generated from an average of all residential consumer bills.

Mayor Van Bynen advised of an upcoming Public Information Centre on December 3, 2015 at the Community Centre and Lions Hall, 200 Doug Duncan Drive.  Staff from various departments will be in attendance to provide information on departmental objectives and Council’s strategic priorities, among other matters.
