Tom Hempen advised that members of the public were encouraged to attend an Advisory Committee or Board Meeting by viewing the live stream available at newmarket.ca/meetings, or attending in person at the Council Chambers at 395 Mulock Drive.

Strategic Plan

Rob Dale, Rhapsody Strategies, provided a review of the strategic plan from the first meeting that was held on March 11, 2020 and the meetings in November 2020 for the Main Street District Business Improvement Area Board of Management. 

The members brainstormed strategic ideas, objectives for today, and issues facing the Newmarket BIA. A summary of the meeting from Rob Dale was distributed to board members after the meeting (see attachment). He asked the board members to put the strategic ideas into themes and prioritze them. The members of the BIA Board will discuss the strategic plan at the beginning of their next meeting on July 6.

Rob Clark advised that he has not received payment regarding hosting the website. Tom Hempen will follow up with Accounts Payable. Members discussed contact information on the website and how to manage content.
