   The workshop convened at 9:17 a.m.

Mayor Van Bynen advised that in accordance with the Town’s Procedure By-law, no    decisions are to be made but rather this meeting is an opportunity for Council to have informal discussion regarding various matters.

The Chief Administrative Officer provided an overview of the workshop material and introduced Ms. Susan Hall, Vice-President, LURA (Listen, Understand, Relate, Advance) and Mr. Peter Garforth, Garforth International who provided a PowerPoint presentation regarding the Newmarket Municipal Energy Plan.

The Chief Administrative Officer introduced Mr. Sandro Sementilli, San Michael Homes Development who provided a proposal presentation regarding the Hollingsworth Arena Site.

THAT the proposal presentation by Mr. Sandro Sementilli of San Michael Homes Development regarding the Hollingsworth Arena Site be received.

 

Carried

 

Staff provided an overview of the Town policy with respect to the purchase and sale of Town owned lands.
