FINANCIAL INCENTIVES PROGRAM APPLICATION 2014-08 – MULTIPLE, 201 MAIN STREET

Project Summary:

After much delays caused by unexpected building upgrade requirements, the proposed Chips and Malt restaurant project is underway. The owners are seeking assistance with a number of building upgrades, including interior renovations, façade improvements and a business sign. Heritage Conservation District Committee approval for exterior changes has been received.

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES PROGRAM APPLICATION 2015-06 – INTERIOR RENOVATION AND IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, 201 MAIN STREET

Project Summary:

The landlord of 201 Main Street has finally agreed to cover a portion of interior improvements not related to the tenant (Chip and Malt) but required by the Town of Newmarket, subject to Financial Incentive Program funding. This includes structural support and fire alarm installation totalling over $32,000. This will relieve the tenant of excessive unanticipated costs that has led to significant cost overruns and delays in getting the venture open.
