for Site Plan Approval to permit a new 15-storey rental apartment building
containing 225 units together with an accessory parking structure on the
subject lands.

Committee.
The Site
Plan Review Committee recommends:
1.
THAT the
Application for Site
Plan Approval to permit a new 15-storey rental apartment building containing
225 units together with an accessory parking structure on the subject lands be approved in principle and referred
to staff for processing, subject to the following:
a.
THAT the
preliminary review comments provided to the applicant be addressed to the
satisfaction of Town Staff;
b.
THAT the applicant
address the concerns indicated by Committee regarding the issue of snow
management and removal to Town Staff’s satisfaction;
c.
THAT the
applicant explore with Town Staff and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation
Authority the possibilities of enclosing the open ditch at the front of the
property, along Davis Drive, to create an urban breathing space; and
d.
THAT the
applicant review the landscape plans to enhance the visual buffering of the
building and associated parking structure along the south and east property
lines.
2.
AND THAT Dan
Berholz of Green & Rose Developments Inc., 156 Duncan Mill Road, Unit 12,
TORONTO, ON M3B 3N2, be notified of this decision;
3. AND THAT Brad Rogers of

THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF YORK
The Regional
Municipality of York requested an exemption from the Town’s Telecommunications
Tower Protocol for a 5
metre high antenna pole located at the Hound Trail Flume Meter Chamber (912
Bosworth Court) to provide a communication link to the Region’s SCADA
(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system.
Davy Chan,
Capital Project Specialist of The Regional Municipality of York was present to
address the Committee.
The Site
Plan Review Committee recommends:
1.
THAT the
request for an exemption from the Town’s Telecommunications Tower Protocol for a 5 metre high antenna pole located at the Hound Trail
Flume Meter Chamber (912 Bosworth Court) to provide a communication link to the
Region’s SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system be granted, subject to the following:
a.
THAT the
applicant be directed to provide an information letter to area residents
advising of the proposed work; and
b.
THAT the
applicant investigate the opportunity to provide landscaping around the
perimeter of the property.
2.
AND THAT Davy
Chan, Capital Project Specialist of The Regional Municipality of York, 17250
Yonge Street, NEWMARKET, ON L3Y
6Z1, be notified of this decision.
The meeting
