Jeff Fabian advised that this meeting will be held in-person only and that the purpose of the meeting is for the Committee to learn about the Georgina Multi-Use Recreation Complex and the use of accessible features within the Discovery Library Branch and that meeting participants will be touring the Georgina Multi-Use Recreation Centre for the duration of the meeting.

Tour of the Georgina Multi-Use Recreation Complex and Discovery Library Branch

Committee Members toured the Georgina Multi-Use Recreation Complex and Discovery Library Branch. Committee Members learned from staff about the use of accessible resources within the Recreation Complex and discussed various aspects of accessibility including universal and accessible washrooms, adjustable tables and desks, movable book shelves, door-openers, and emergency procedures for  visitors with disabilities.
